Agree. I worry the club is going to be under pressure to adopt these recommendations, when I think these measures will be counterproductive in the long run.

Maybe they'll find an Aboriginal assistant coach who is the best person for the job. Win-win. |
Only then, if the indigenous candidate is the best qualified and skilled, should he be selected. There should be no other reason for doing so. The noxious idea of quotas seeks to fight racism with racism.

Of course. Nepotism is corrosive in the same way as racism.

If it's true that De Goey has never been fitter and is raring to go in 2021, Sier finally steps up, Cox (with full vision) becomes more consistent, Howe returns, Daicos continues his emergence as a star, alongside Grundy, Moore, Maynard, Quaynor, Mihocek, Crisp, Pendles and Sidey, then there's no reason we can't be a genuine flag contender in 2021.
In fact, I think we have the potential to be a considerably better side next year than we were in 2020. Look out, here come the Pies! |
