Agree. He serves out the final year and then will depart most likely.
The club needs a change in the coaching ranks as it is. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |

Be great if we win the flag though!
When Eddie announced his retirement last year, the look on Buckley’s face said it all... “I’m next.” |

Any new president, even the caretaker variety, will feel the need to stamp their mark on the club and make changes.
They'll want to make it seem like they have a vision, a plan of action.
Sadly, dumping the coach is often the shortcut to achieve that. It doesn't necessarily mean that it will be the best thing. |

The season will mostly likely kick off with the two fill in President,s if they scan the land for a full time prez
Then of course one from current board may be earlier
A new prez from outside with no ties to anyone at Collingwood may be more prone to see Bucks out and get a man he select,s _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |

The answer to the thread's question is YES! Bucks IS continuing without Ed. _________________ The beatings will continue until moral improves. |

And yes he has 2021 contract—the thought of Eddie exiting would see him with a loss of board back up is not quite right
It was Walsh and Murphy that pushed hard for his last contract extension (not Ed) _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |

The results will determine whether Buckley gets an extension or not.
Finish top 6 and he would be guaranteed an extension. _________________ - Side By Side - |

Can't see us winning the flag with the forward line we had last year. It'll be interesting to see if we try something different this year. Also heard Bucks acknowledge that we need to improve the connection between the mids and forwards, so it'll be interesting to see if we improve on that facet of our game. _________________ The beatings will continue until moral improves. |

There are three scenarios 1. We win the flag... Bucks gets resigned for 2 years. 2. We don't win the flag, Bucks gets moved on. 3. We are less wins than losses by round ten, Bucks gets the boot... _________________ All Aboard!! Choo Choo!!! |

Yep. His position is untenable but as Miyagi noted it would make for an interesting dynamic to say the least if we did win the flag this year. _________________ “I even went as far as becoming a Southern Baptist until I realised they didn’t keep ‘em under long enough” Kinky Friedman |

Winning a flag doesn't make for an interesting dynamic. The outcome would be easy.
Finishing top 4 / winning 15+ games and not winning the flag makes for an interesting dynamic. |
