Ok was just listening to SEN and they rebroadcast a Eddie Cornes interview - pretty much, when asked about Bucks and the future of a contract extension - he pretty much said it eventually would sort itself out and wouldnt commit to anything...
To me that says that Eddie has removed his his ring of protection... it's the kiss of death. _________________ All Aboard!! Choo Choo!!! |

According to Kane Cornes, for what it is worth (but let's hope this time he is actually correct), Hawthorn are in for a dark 2021, due to injuries to Gunston and Mitchell, and an imbroglio with Patten.
If this eventuates, Clarkson might be gettable at the very moment we need a new coach, end of 2021. I would have him in a split second. He would be one coach with proven ability who could potentially get Pendles a second flag before he retires. _________________ Free Julian Assange!!

Lets say hypothetically we suddenly get Clarkson.. it magically happens - what then? What happens then... we may get a hungry Clarkson raring to go at a new club for another tens years or so, or do we get a Pagan or Malthouse going through the motions?
So we need to be careful what we wish for.. whoever is our next coach, he (or she) needs to be the best road to success whoever they are, an old head like Clarkson or a new up and coming coach/assistant who kills their interview and gets the head job. _________________ All Aboard!! Choo Choo!!! |

Luke Hodge is still my preferred option, he knows Clarksons techniques inside out, plus we have Graham Wright back to guide him too. _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

Hardwick has tarnished his leadership at Tigerland

"Most importantly the lines have been blurred where accepted workplace practices are concerned. Again the club line has been found wanting. Alexandra Crow might be an impressive marketing official in charge of elite club supporter groups but the power imbalance between her and Hardwick is stark.
....
That they now give the Hardwick-Crow scenario a tick because they work in different departments is frankly laughable given the coach’s influence across the entire club.
It is telling that the Tigers cannot guarantee Crow will remain at the club although they insist that choice will be hers alone. If it came to it, good luck selling the story of a woman yet again sacrificing her job ahead of a man.
But then the Hardwick controversy highlights the recurring hypocrisy across big organisations and specifically in this case football clubs when it comes to political correctness. You can’t help but wonder whether the coach might have been in more trouble if his name was Simon Goodwin or Leon Cameron. Or an assistant coach." |

My feeling now is, Buckley will be the next one to fall. How can he possibly survive with so many people out to get the club.
We'll have to at least make the prelim for him to make it to '22.
There's just too much pressure on the club to change everything. Walsh is gone, Eddie is gone, recruitment staff and coaching staff will be next. How sad if even older players like Pendles are moved on too. _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |

It’s laughable people want Clarkson. Look at what Hawthorn is recently, not what they were ten years ago.
And the vitriol being slung at Bucks in this thread is $$%^%%$ pathetic. |

Bucks won’t be coach next year, unless we win the flag. |

^ NO coach could take us to the flag this season, we have lost a shitload of experienced players, some 15 of em, including adam and jayden. We have a very very young list now, kids, who r still very raw and green, would take a bloody miracle to win the flag with all these kids, Barassi, Norm smith, Clarksen, Hardwick could not even do it with us now, Im happy just to show progress, bring on the kids, and make One Final, then build on that, talk of premierships is just deluded utter bullshit, wont happen. _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.
