Basically, WB will be paying the $600K and us the $330K. However, they have agreed to front end some of Treloar's salary payments in the first year to give us some salary cap relief.

How ridiculous,to pay a player $300,000 a year to play at another club.Only Collingwood could do that.

The Age article states we will be paying close to 1 million across the 5 years.

It's been alleged that we rolled over and back ended a tad over $800,000 in total as part of what would have been Treloar's remaining contract with the Pies so at a minimum we should have been prepared to pay that amount to secure a deal.

At the end of the day we will be saving a not insignificant amount of $700,000 per season in trading Treloar.

300k for 5 years.... who gives a shit!

300k doesn’t even get you an average player these days.

Good riddance to him. Let’s see if he even gets on the park in 2021!

^^

the average player is on around $370k and he’s an average AFL player so I’d say is around that mark.

Yeh true. It has happened before quite a bit with other clubs. Im not talking this situation, but you can bet the Cats gave away an arm and a leg to get Cameron, he would not have come cheap to those bastards, thats for sure. Surprised
