A premiership winner and a Copeland trophy winner.

That is a very small group to be part of.

Fine career Beamsy!

He was great back in the day, the Grand Finals, ten yrs ago. But, we made a very poor decision to bring him back, very stupid decision, clearly he had issues, and we ignored them, a big fail there. But, he is a Magpies Premiership player, and always will be.

Yeah, he does, because he is forever a Premiership legend, whatever happened thereafter.

All the best to Wills and Appleby, too. A little surprised to see Wills go – thought it might have been handy to keep him around, particularly with the loss of Treloar and Phillips.

Loved him before he £$%$ed off, right up there with the other Dane. A super talent who at times got the shits with how inept some of his teammates were. Bucks couldn’t handle the individual.

Beamer, you are still a true champion. However the unfortunate thing about depression is that you stop loving the things in life that you used to love. Many sufferers of this mental illness like myself will identify with you. So if you have stopped loving footy, you have done the best thing for yourself and the club. May you heal in time and feel the love and support of your wife and family. Thanks for the wonderful memories as a superb magpie premiership player.

Spoken by someone who just doesn’t get depression and how it affects people. Jesus Christ couldn’t handle someone with chronic depression until he healed the person first. Nothing to do with Bucks really unless Bucks had a degree in Psychiatry that we didn’t know about. <Snip - play the ball please. Thx...The mods team>
