Paying a guy with significant injury history $900K for 5 years is just ludicrous.

Even the Bullfrogs aren't so stoopid forcing us tom pay $300K.

Treloar is a a shadow of his former self. The lack of interest from 16 other clubs proves that.

We are better off without him and his potential to self destruct in 2021.

What crap. Treloar is the same player he has always been
It is the current Collingwood administration that decided he was worth 900. Don’t worry about what 16 other clubs think, the current Collingwood administration valued him at 900k, then changed their mind? Too late - incompetent idiots

Only one club saw value in Treloar at $600K.

That tells you everything you need to know.

If Richmond offered Martin at $700K and was willing to pay $300K, all 17 clubs would be fighting for his signature.

This is a straw man. Who claimed that Adz was as good as Martin? Martin is the best player in the AFL.

Sorry Ads - sorry you didn't pick Richmond in 2015.
You'd be part of 3 flags, and alternately, a likely 4-peat from 2017-2020

Reckon that would have lessened your anxiety somewhat.

To us, you would have been "just another player who didn't want to come to Collingwood". And we'd have been fine with that; we are used to it.

You only met your partner because our narcissistic moron president decided we had to field a netball team in the expanding national comp.
More money pissed against the wall for nothing; but he's good at that.

Kim should have stayed in brisbane; you'd both be happier.

And FWIW - after all of this, you should have refused the trade today, and just "pulled a Beamsy" and played the psycho card; nobody can prove otherwise, and there certainly would be an obvious work-related trauma leaning in your favour, played out in the media.

Does it all stem back to his GWS days??? <Snip - Let’s not kick irrelevant dirt up, please. Pies4shaw for BBMods>

I know there are a lot of rumours floating around but one of them has to be either the catalyst or a very good reason why the club have a. traded Treloar and b. not said a word other than different direction?

At the time Treloar was recruited, Collingwood did have a better list then Richmond.

Its just poor future recruiting..., poor medical team and Richmond playing as a better "Team" won them the premierships.

Now Granted....Martin won Richmond's Cup this year clearly but the previous ones where much more even team performance by them.

Mornin' coach; it was a serious post.
Sliding-door moments; 50/50 decisions we make in our lifetimes.
We may have the choice of two roads, and take the one which seems like the most logical route; yet only with the benefit of hindsight can we see the other road was the better one, although this can take some years to manifest.
So yes, I'm sorry for Adam that he didn't select Richmond when he left GWS

It is what it is but it could have been a jubilant “it was what it was” situation if he chose Richmond. I dearly hope he has major success with Footscray before Collingwood climbs out of the gutter😪

I understand most if not all human beings have “anxiety”.
A bloody furphy.
Expect Buckley will have plenty when the club finds the guts to fire him and his legacy is a failed coach and a selfish hypocrite.
Can’t wait.

If Treloar loved Collingwood so much he would have taken a small pay cut. At $900k he could afford to cut $100k a year, maybe more. Says a lot about Treloar that he thinks he’s worth $900k a year and wouldn’t sacrifice a little for the club he loves soooo much!!! I lost a lot of respect for him. Mihocek took a smaller pay deal to stay at the club and he’s more valuable a player and match winner than Treloar is. Geelong players famously took pay cuts when they were close to a flag and went on to win them.
