Collingwood paid a high price to secure Treloar from Greater Western Sydney in 2015, sending two first-round selections to GWS.
and got a 2nd rounder back for him.
nice great deal |

Treloar cost us 2 first round picks, and Stephenson was pick 6.
So they cost us 3 first round picks and then we effective trade the pair of them away for pick 14.
Absolutely outrageous.
Heads must roll. Ed should be the first. |

It's unacceptable on all fronts.
The circumstances of Treloar and Stephenson's departures will leave bitter taste in my mouth for a long time. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |

He can still motor along very nicely. Just watch how he goes being an outside mid, instead of having to continually share the hard work on the inside. |

100% correct.
He's a liability and will only be spending more time injured than playing. Tearing both hammies off the bone is irrecoverable.
Coupled with his known mental issues and now family separation issues, he's a basket case waiting to happen.
Great move by the club. |

Essendon said no, and they could use him and easily fit him in their cap. Saints, Hawks, Roos. There’s more to the story, it just doesn’t make sense otherwise |
Have you not heard of the capitalist market? When a seller is desperate, the buyer screws him over.
Why only the Dogs?
When you conduct a fire sale, by definition it means that you are selling whatever the time, however unfavourable the conditions. I don;t think you can accurately measure a player;s worth by how many clubs attempt to get him, in a space of 1 week, at the end of the season. Trade decisions normally take place over far more extended periods, in which several clubs might vie. Not over the space of 1 week in a sudden death bidding war.
Moreover, your whole argument undermines your whole orientation. If he is not such a star, why did we pay him so much in the first place? Why did Bucks go out of his way to get him?
Either way, we are an incompetent club, and the current coaching /list managment regime bears the responsiblity. The crisis for us is that this incompetent leadership structure is still making decisions of pivotal importance for the club. _________________ Free Julian Assange!!

Where's the proof Treloar wanted to travel weekly? |
Ok. So a player we are paying $900k with a history of anxiety sees his wife and daughter once a month and we expect him to have his mind on the job?

It’s incredible how many deluded supporters of this club will justify complete incompetence to stand in line with selfish narcissists as they dominate this club for their own gain.
If Eddie MCGuire thought this club was bigger than him, would he, after 24 years as president be trying to find a successor?
And Buckley has read a handbook on empathy but continues to fall out badly with all players that leave the club. All of Richmond’s players leave on good terms. |

^ not sure whats hard to comprehend.
Paying a guy with significant injury history $900K for 5 years is just ludicrous.
Even the Bullfrogs aren't so stoopid forcing us tom pay $300K.
Treloar is a a shadow of his former self. The lack of interest from 16 other clubs proves that.
We are better off without him and his potential to self destruct in 2021. _________________ Fighting against the objectification of woman. |
