Very talented junior with big raps on him, then went to basketball, then we enticed him to come over to us. Havent heard how he is going and if he will make it on our list for next year. I was hoping he would be a darkhorse and surprise us all.
So whats his story ?

It's very hard to tell without a VFL season this year. And limited reports from the practice games they've played.

I'm also very interested to see where he is at. He is 23yo, so you'd think he'd want to have shown something. Is still contracted (rookie) through 2021.

At 194cm, maybe he's the forward line saviour.... Cool

Thats good to know he is contracted through 2021. He will have time to develop.
Just a gut feeling about him, he may shine.

It’s been an impossible year to develop any project player and that also applies to any young kids selected later in the 2019 draft.
Its really is that simple.

Yep. Quite right P2016. I'd go further and say any project player or any kid picked up in the last two drafts could consider themselves extremely unlucky if they get delisted this year.

Was a very good junior player until he was about 15yo and switched to basketball full time.
Only joined the VFL team in mid 2019 so hasn't had much opportunity to play serious matches.

The few games I saw him in the VFL last year.
Nothing stood out.

There were videos?
Where? I was looking everywhere early, but I gave up.

The good thing about Tom Wilson is that he is a natural forward with the sort of mobility that we lack in the forward line this season. I would have liked Thomas to have been given a rest and played Wilson in games against Adelaide and Nth Melbourne just to assess his capabilities going forward into next year. As I’ve continually stated the match committee have had far too a conservative approach to selection this season and we’re paying for that now in the forward line we’ve selected to play against WCE.

Rubbish. If we hold them to three goals, we can possibly win with these forwards.

Tim Kelly himself will kick three on us before we even get to Kennedy and Darling. However we have the backs this time round to hold Kennedy and Darling. The damage in our backline is going to come from the West Coast mids.

Realistically there is no way that we can keep wet toast to 3 goals. Not a hope in hell. I know we get all excited and hopeful of a win the closer it gets to the game but try hard as I have, I haven’t worked out how we can win.😭
