The deal would be difficult. Tom Phillips and our pick 39 would be fair. In fact Hawks rumoured interest in Elliott (if true) may be in play. Speculation people!

If we got him and Brown I would say we are in for a game plan overhaul. We’d have to be. Is a mid sized leading target, Brown is a tall hit up forward. Our “Gameplan” is kick it in long and hold it in. This is why a competitive cox is so important. Bring these two in and we need more methodic entires (which I’m all for). Not sure we have the foot skills to pull this off...

The old dump your ageing star for some choice draft picks and off load the high salary you are paying so you rebuild for another tilt.
Come in spinner.
He is 11 years in the system and his goal kicking and disposal count is on a slow decline.
I don't think that so called high end talent we have brought via trading in the last 6 or 7 years has improved our list.
Some of the low end trade Like Roughead and Howe have.
Roughead we traded for a 4th round pick and Howe in a 4 way trade with us losing Seedsman and kennedy. These so called low end trades are the only players I reckon where we had a decent win.
The question is what do we give up.
I really think we need to go back to the draft unless a bargain comes up.
And Gunston won't be a bargain.

Think it means we aim to keep Mason and not pursue B Brown.
