Post subject: Brayden Sier for Orazio Fantasia? | |

So we have a situation where Brayden Sier is still 5 years later "Mr Potential" and at Essendon Orazio Fantasia's career has stalled with injury and a failed or indecisive trade period. We need a speedy, front and centre crumbing forward and the Dons need an inside bull. With Port ruling themselves out of any future trading of Fantasia and the Crow being on a 3-5 year rebuild, maybe both clubs could solve their issues with a player trade.
Both players have flaws and we would probably need to throw a sweetener in given Fantasia was nearly All Aust a couple seasons ago, but such a trade may have merit. Thoughts? _________________ I love the Pies, hate Carlscum |

We all have our favourite players and those not so much. Doubt that continuing to post "anti" sentiments on Nicks will influence a trade. For mine I think the bear is a key to our success. Granted he needs to work on his tank. Pretty sure he won some credits with Bucks in the last game playing out the game injured. _________________ It's a simple game. |

Tough one; Fantasia has that X factor that can really count in finals...when he is fit...We have a young inside bull coming in this year as well, if Wills could hold the fort for a year or two... _________________ "You hate a mean man, a grasping man, a man who wants everything and gives nothing. I think people may be getting a little carried away by the fact that one year, when we were execrable, Fantasia kicked 9 goals in two outings against us. He doesn't kick goals against the good sides. He's like Fasolo-lite. |

I think we'd be better off Keeping Sier in this one.
Fantasia: 177cm, 25yo, small forward/mid.
From what I know about Orazio wanting to go home to SA a year ago..... It wasn't him. It was his GF. She was not well liked by the other wives/gfs and by his teammates. He loves being at Essendon and they knew it and thats why the club didnt move him. I dont know if Adelaide made an offer, but did Port make a low ball offer? It's possible Essendon asked for Wines and were told no.
Fantasia is a good player, but his name alone causes some of the hype. He has a bit of an injury history (75 games in 7 years). And I believe he does not fill a requirement for our list right now, but would be an upgrade on a soon to be 29yo Josh Thomas. However, Trent Bianco could be the player to take over this position in the coming seasons.
As far as Sier, we need to find an inside midfielder if we think he is not up to it. So is he up to it?
Not the worst idea I've heard '88, but I think we could do a little better. The upside of Sier I think is higher than what Fantasia will offer. _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |

Putting up a mutually advantageous trade to discuss on Nick's is hardly anti sentiment. What was your last topic post?? _________________ I love the Pies, hate Carlscum |

In a single word, no way. Or in two words, no. We need inside mids more than we need Fantasia types. But i do love his name. _________________ Free Julian Assange!!

We don't need Fang-banger, or razzle dazzle or whatever he calls himself. I'd keep Phil In _________________ "Hey Ma get off the dang roof!" |
