Oh wait...its a Lions home game so they are getting the gate revenue so lets jack up the prices.
went from $30 for any seat available to people to 69?
Whats changed? im still going to the ground to see my same team play.. why is it cheaper to watch 2 non-brisbane teams?

Something not right with that. If it is, then it’s a bloody rip off. Get onto the club and media about it |

Surge pricing...based on demand.
Can't see the problem with that. _________________ Fighting against the objectification of woman. |

I hope the AFL don't try and give the Lions an armchair ride to the Grand Final with a favourable finals schedule because 'It'd be great for the game in Queensland' _________________ The beatings will continue until moral improves. |

Only 3 of the top 8 teams are not from VIC.
Shows Victorian sides can flourish outside of playing at the G |

All the drum beating and the hoorah will be a blimp in VFL /AFL history with the Gabba
The contract with AFL and MCG for GF till 2050 will resume when things are good
Then life WILL be back to normal _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |

ID MUCH rather the Lions win the flag, than those arrogant tosser Tigers, who do play the Gabba well, too. Im not up for another gloating, arrogant Tigers ferals flag, the Punt rd dickheads going ballistic, just not up for it, i will barrack for any side against that mob, in the GF, i reckon many other fans will. _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

Anyone else throw up at the sight of mega rich AFL and club bosses jetting into Qld when people with genuinely serious medical and personal reasons to travel are continually blocked? |

Gill confirmed the same amount of seats for supporters will be available at the gabba as normally is available at an MCG GF.
31 thousand seats will go too supporters of each competing team. Thats about the same number of seats available at the G after the corporate and MCC members take there rorting asses to the game |

^ Interestingly, I made the same argument a couple of years back when the idea of a grand final ever being played outside Melbourne seemed like an impossibility. Then, as now, it seemed only fair that the grand final should sometimes rotate, but I was told it could and should never happen. Strange how things work out.

The people who would really be affected if the grand final were moved to the Gabba, the SCG, Adelaide Oval or Optus Stadium (all of which have capacities ranging from 40,000 to 60,000 – which I‘m guessing more than covers the number of regular fans who make it into a grand final at the MCG) would be the corporate box holders and other various theatregoers. The rest of us would just watch it on TV like we always have anyway. Lost $$$ for the AFL, again. But they’re not going to go bankrupt over it. |

Barring another exceptional event like this year, the MCG will be hosting the Grand Final until 2058. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |

WA is guaranteed to push hard for a Perth GF if WC make the GF next month or a prelim. The Gabba GF means we’ll be seeing more interstate GFs in the near future, guaranteed. |
