They must have a plan and a really good one mustn't they?

On face value - what a terrible day for CFC. Footy wise - I'm kinda gutted and angry about this.

I don't think there's a plan.

The club has bungled its salary cap and conducted a fire sale to ease it.

Compare us to the Melbourne Storm. Yes they had a hiccup and were stripped of two flags with salary cap cheating, but they came roaring back and continue to win. You know what. Storm's coach Craig Bellamy doesn't know a lot about AFL, but he'd be a ten times better coach than Buckley for one reason: AUTHENTICITY.

Correct

And they plan, and work out how to deal with players losing

Culture to me is always smart people making smart decisions

And we make dumb ones time, and time, and time, and time again.....

Australias dumbest club

Remember the 80’s comic “Collingwood what a joke”. I feel like it might be time for a new version.

The only trades we needed to do was McGuire and Buckley not Treloar and Stephenson.

Nothing will p12s me off more than come summer when 'McGuire's Side or No Side' will spin his usual Side by Side on his TV and maybe Radio shows over summer and how well the players have come back to training and how the 1st and 2nd year players drafted look very good, fit and impressive at training AND especially if we are winning some of those 'who cares' games before the season starts.

Is it 'good ol’ Collingwood' or is it 'same ol' Collingwood'.........!!!

Today eclipses any Grand Final loss. At least when you lose a GF it's on the backend of merit, hard work and club integrity. Today was an abomination best illustrated by getting absolutely rorted by North Melbourne. Just like the fat kid teasing you at school and everybody else in the class laughing. Tragic.

Today we lost:

1. an overpaid, injury prone midfielder in Treloar who has mental issues and now family separation issues.
2. a fragile small forward who plays scared in Stephenson whose form has gone backwards in three years
3. one of our worst players in 2020 in Phillips who singlehandedly cost us the game against Brisbane.

So really...we're better off.

INXS 88, I hear you loud and clear but am helpless to say anything positive because I feel the same way. I love Collingwood and this type of disastrous machinations upset me so as a sufferer of chronic depression, I need to be very careful as to how I deal with it. I might totally switch off footy for a while and maybe not thinking about it too much might help. I don’t know 🤷‍♂️ I’m so bloody pissed off 😡

Stop overvaluing our players. The market has spoken. Players we think are Rolls Royce are really Mazda.

Good for you swimming in de Nile. Glad that you can turn today’s events into a positive. I just cannot find that particular attitude inside of me so you are a better man than me Gangadin 😪

A grand final loss is always worse than losing some players. But today was still a dreadful day for the club.
