A fresh start would be winning the hit outs ( we do this all the time )
and winning the centre clearences.

Luke Hodge or Sam Mitchell as assistants instead of Sando and Harvey. Can’t help but think we are getting rid of the wrong people. Longmuir and Hocking were a large part of 2018/2019 success. Dale Tapping doing wonders under Ratten at Saints.

Then either of those guys can step in once Bucks time is up.

Don't forget a similar thing happened in 2009 when we rolled Adelaide on the road in a final, then the Cats thumped us by 73 points the following week.
Remember dwhat happened the following year?...

It’s impossible to change the past so spending time on it should be brief

The future is the one thing we can change if we really work at it and we have a start

Daicos is the first positive a will mention

Quaynor is my second mention

With brief looks at Ruscoe and Will Kelly they could prove further positive

So some good gets from the past to make for a brighter future

I think I might turf out the rear vision mirror

Oh thought I’d add a querie—-would Atu be groomed as the Charlie Cameron style small crummier—-replace JT
It’s only a thought looking forward

Think Tapping is at Brisbane under Fagan.

Luke Hodge makes too much money in the media without having to bare the scrutiny a senior coach would, Sam Mitchell 1. is the coach in waiting for his own club so it would have to be a massive offer for a untried coach and 2. he hates Collingwood....

Neither will ever coach Collingwood.

I’m trying to remain positive that they will pick up via trade a quality player or two that fit all our needs but the variances like salary cap and clubs track record have me holding out on that positivity ——we have infrequent as well as untried youth and with the retirement of some and a few players who just don’t fill the bill we need a quality trade

As for off field personnel we let go a man who could well have taken us forward in the future but he now is on a path to do the same at Fremantle

Well, we will know in less than 12 months I'd suggest....

With Howe back in and no Phillips I would release Noble to a wing

Inside our coaches box we have personality clones of each other.
Clearly unable to manage the 'jack the lad' types of personalities. We've moved on Shaw, Didak, Wellingham, Daisy, Beams, and Stephenson.
While we kept Swan / JDG, it was simply, keep the best, let go the rest.

We need to replace one of our yes men with a personality that can handle these types of players, and bring them into line with a different approach. I thought Budda was the one to retain to bring in fresh blood. With that either Sando or Harvey is moved on but looks like Buddha's style wasn't one that gelled with the current system.
