I would love Sam Powell-Pepper to come Collingwood. He's such a competitive beast. As soon as he's in the vicinity of the ball I stop watching the ball and start watching what he does. He reminds me of Darren Millane.

Besides the obvious big strong key forward, a mobile 2nd tall forward ala Darling of Membrey. I reckon we need a classy wingman that’s quick, can glide across the field and can kick with penetration like Brad Hill.

Stevo could develop into that. I've noticed him start on the wing at centre bounces lately.

The Pies have to be like a "hyena around the carcass" of GWS or any other club's salary cap trouble. It has worked previously and the pitch is really similar.

For example: "So Harry (Himmelberg), we at Collingwood struggle to understand why the powers at GWS don't recognise you as one of their best 7 players on the list either currently or over the next 3 years. We at the Carringbush do so and to prove as such we offer you $$$$$$$$$$$$".

For any other player simply change the name....

Expect Phillips and maybe Sier to be added. Personally I'd like Sier to make it given his upside and the patience we have shown. Phillips on the other hand has peaked. Would definitely get a reasonable pick between 25-30 for him (even though we know he isn't worth that)

Yes. Has a few too many clangers. Now that you mention it. I guess I just admire his ferocity at the contest.

Rory Laird was exceptional for the Crows tonight.

He will be a free agent in 2021. I wonder if he would be someone worth targeting?

Honestly? We dont have just 1 issue. If we go for a big forward, our game plan of putting the ball in a fwds head suggests we need a big strong marking fwd and good Small’s at their feet. We don’t have that fwd and our Small’s are mediums, lead up take a mark, run the lines types. There in lies the problem IMO. Adams, Phillips, Mayne etc delivering the ball into our fwd 50, they don’t have the foot skills to hit the target so it’s either a bad turn over or a bomb to no capable bigs and Small’s.
This is not a simple issue to fix. Needs a commitment to a game plan and then some targeted recruiting or wait for the draft. I don’t see us contending for a long long while.

On tall mobile forward’s last night against Crows the younger Himmelberg impressed me.
Have seen a post on Nicks where the GWS one was mentioned as a good get

Does anyone say that about the Himmelberg at Crows—-22 yrs old & 1.98m
& 98 kg
