So, in effect, he has pushed back opening for most things a week from Oct 26 to Nov 1. And still no sight of travel to regional Victoria. Can't say I expected much more but it's still disappointing. _________________ kill for collingwood! |

Looks like Shepp dodged a bullet as no new cases.
Mum is happy as regional libraries are allowed to open.
And I can get a haircut, had booked in for November but hopefully my hairdresser can get me in sooner. _________________ If you are foolish enough to be contented, don't show it, but just grumble with the rest. - Jerome K Jerome |

By well in front, you mean less than the lead the Federal ALP had over the LNP at 1800 on the 18th May 2019 in opinion polls. |

25km is useful as my kids just fit in that as the crow flys. Having to meet outside is a PITA, but at least once we hit November the real stuff (hopefully) happens. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

P4S thankyou for all your efforts here,
well im sighing with relief!! 25klm is great, hair cuts etc,
and if all goes well this week we might get more earlier than the 1st of november, brilliant news
more importantly, it means there really is less pressure on the health and emergency workers, less people dying, less people who will have lifetime problems. _________________ You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either! |

I’m pretty happy with this. And a good chance that the 2 November changes will happen earlier by the sounds of things. I reckon we’ll be under the 5 case average by 26 October, so it might just come down to where the mystery cases are at. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

4 new cases and 1 new death in Victoria today. That's 6 days in a row of 6 or less new cases and 5 in a row under 5. |

Saw this today, from Twitter:

Quote: | On the same day Victoria recorded 723 cases back in July, the UK recorded 763. Today as Victoria records 1, the UK recorded 15,650. Don't ever let the people who called for the end of lockdown forget this. |

Forget? No, they won't forget it. Not a chance - cause they never bloody learned it in the first place.
You could sear it on their arses with a red-hot branding iron and they'd still walk around pretending not to know it. _________________ Let's eat Grandma. Commas save lives! |

I missed this, but we actually had an additional 4 downward reclassifications yesterday afternoon – which means that, remarkably, we had –2 new cases for the day.
Active cases down to 136 (only a small drop today). The weekly average is under 5 for the first time since 13 June (it's sitting on just 3.4 now). _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace
