To keep the shaky, 15yo, highly-bespoke software running, Mike complete our first server upgrade in 6 years.
Firstly, lets marvel that he got the software to work at all...
But change is not without consequence.
Most significantly, the Ignore functionality has done its ACL and faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines. Be patient people, please, and look to benefit from the exposure to alternative perspectives (ahem). Hey, we mods have to listen to everyone, so why shouldn't you for a while?
The link to Profiles has a corky, but with intensive icing should be right to play shortly.
And as if Collingwood didn't already have enough special characters, you will see a few examples around the place of a question mark inside a black diamond. If they appear in places like your location or signature in your profile, re-enter the correct version and all will be good (see the trick there?).
Actually, use any other link, such as clicking your name in the ‘Who is Online’ section or on a post to get to your Profile - just like Stevo going round Rory Lobb. |

Any plans to update the CFC logo in the top left corner? Or is it heritage listed? _________________ Est. 2002 |

That explains why my request for a ignore has fallen on deaf ears.
And it was my first😖 _________________ no second chances |

Perhaps if we all act respectfully to each other, the 'ignore' function can go the way of Blair and Macaffer...just a thought _________________ "The last thing he expected WAS THE FIRST THING HE GOT!!!!!"

What we need is an upgraded ignore function that automatically ignores any posts that are disrespectful to Collingwood players (e.g. "player x is a dud") - to save me the trouble. _________________ Side by side. |

Great post!
At the moment you can view your profile by using the work-around, but the edit function is out of reach and things are going to get a bit quieter around here if I can't find the reason for the 'Register' function also throwing a 500 error.
- working on it. |

The Profile and Register functions are working again, but the Ignore facility is a long term loss. |

Hi Mike
I thought things were not right in Kansas when I tried to log on the other day. I got an error message, but the only part I could understand was "Mike is having a bad day..."
Nicks at 50% is like Joe Daniher - worth playing, even if unfit...

It's definitely heritage listed here, and taste listed as well. I refuse to fly the flag backwards just so that it can be on the left - it was a ridiculous compromise then... and still is. |

Thanks Ben. It's fantastic that you're 'still here after all these years'. Memories of the chat room nearly 20 years ago are still fresh - we now have members who weren't even born then! |
