218 games, 274 goals, best and fairest winner, leading club goal kicker, 2x All-Australian and premiership player.

And I feel like we don't hear his name often enough when we're talking about former greats.

The goals he kicked and the way he moved was nothing short of sensational and freakish.

I miss him out there and would kill for another player like that to come in now!

My fave has to be the jump, smother, goal in the GF replay.

An excellent footballer.

- Premiership player (2010)
- Copeland Trophy winner (2006)
- All Australian x 2 (2006, 2010)
- Club leading goalkicker (2010)

Another goal that I have fond memories of which wasn't included in the video was his torpedo against Carlton in 2010.

He suffered a bit from comparisons to Daicos which was partly inevitable, but bloody good player in his own right.

Wouldn't you just love to have Didak and Daicos in your pockets with Sav and Mckenna in the spine.

How can you not include 2011. Granted a disappointing final game of the year,
but the rest was as good as you could ask for! Undefeated but for one team.
Undefeated in 4 2010 finals followed by a season of wins with 1 mid season loss that would have been a win if Pendlebury's play on goal had been allowed. Potentially a run of 25 undefeated games.

Wasn't making a statement by its exclusion. 2011 was also amazing, but i think certainly Leon Davis and maybe also Alan Didak were further diminished in 2011, although we did get to enjoy Andy Krakouer magic that year!!

Davis was excellent in 2011. He reinvented himself as a defender and was named in the All-Australian team.

Didak was a reasonable contributor in 2011, but he wasn't the same after the pectoral muscle injury he sustained in late 2010 and played through in the finals up until our premiership.

Krakouer was a very handy recruit for us. Added a new layer of x-factor into the team and also won the 'Mark of the Year' award in 2011.

Great video highlights. A few other memorable goals they left out:
-the 2003 QF vs Brisbane; he kicked the sealer from the boundary
-there was a patch of 3 goals in 3 minutes at Docklands one night (against WCE I think, or North Melbourne)
