I've read 11 pages of this thread, now - and I do have a burning question: Shouldn't the "Andrews" in the thread title be followed by an apostrophe of possession? |

Or a colon or dash - I could accept one of those two, as well. |

Yes; an apostrophe not a dash. _________________ “I even went as far as becoming a Southern Baptist until I realised they didn’t keep ‘em under long enough” Kinky Friedman |

No, that’s correct. Most people gather basic English language skills at Primary School. |

Apostrophe, of course.
It could be with a colon, an em dash, or simply a space: all are acceptable, though the dash is marginal.
Or just a colon, no apostrophe. Just a dash? Well, OK, at a pinch, but the colon is better.

Isn't it in the wrong place? His name is Andrews not Andrew _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

As long as we don't have to eat Dan, I'm OK with anything, now. |

Who is Scottys? And why isn't he spelled "Scotties"?

I didn't have enough space to properly fix it by putting both apostrophes in, so have given Daniel his official portmanteau to keep Stui happy. Also, detention for all of you. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

Detention? Goodie! We can all stay back and pull Stui's pigtails! Yay!
PS: you could have just left out "strength of" without changing the meaning by more than a hair. _________________ Let's eat Grandma. Commas save lives! |
