They're first in the country now (if not the world). It takes a strength of leadership to confront the challenges, meet then surpass them.

We will need to wait to pass judgment on the right honourable happy clappy Scotty from marketing. 50% of the growth came from consumer consumption which in turn was based in large part on job keeper and job seeker (which is good) despite stupidly not funding hospitality, the university sector and the arts: all big employers. However that is being cut to the bone.

You really need to work on getting your facts right. Job Keeper was available to hospitality, it kept many venues afloat which would have otherwise closed. Just some of the people didn't meet the length of employment criteria, so they could get Job Seeker instead if they lost their job. Similar with the Arts.

Universities didn't need a handout, they needed the enema.

The state budget is funding public housing and this was missed by the feds and could have been a game changer.

Public housing IS a state responsibility, and something that's been seriously neglected by Labor in Victoria compared to other states spending. Maybe Teflon Dan should look to the 69,000 empty houses in melbourne, a large proportion of which would be owned by Chinese investors hiding money.

Yes Scotty from Marketing is showed real leadership when he sacked / forced the resignation of:

blah blah blah

Yeah yeah, people you think should be sacked. Meanwhile, teflon Dan presided over the fuckup that killed over 800 Victorians, no one has been sacked and no one knows who was accounatble for a number of the crucial decisions or even who was in charge of the clustercluck. Accountability? That word isn't in Dan's vocabulary.

Yes , the right honourable Prime Minister of Australia, Scott Morrison needs to be recognised and the right honourable, twice elected hunchback of Spring St, teflon Dan should be castrated with a blunt butter knife and sent to work as a security guard in hotel quarantine Wink

See, we agree on something. Razz

^ Stui, Stui, Stui:

1. Hospitality depends on those people that didn't meet the federal goverments narrow criteria that is, casuals (goodness me) who didn't get a nickel (yes, seem to gloss over that) do get your facts right
2. No money for the Arts
3.Get that chip off your shoulder, the Univerity sector as you admit got bugger all - they are also big employers
4. While public housing is a state responsibility the feds control how much the states get. Now, in a time of the once in one hundred year event when the eocnomy is fast heading south the Feds can assist the states and the whole country and invest in infrastructure to include public housing: homelessness and residential vulnerability exisits all over the country. The feds should meet the premiers brillliant starting strategy in public housing expenditure. It is not only socially useful but will be a economic stimulus beyond those who can already afford housing (this isn't very hard to get your head around)
5. The cornavirus has prevented Scotty from marketing for being held to account for his inaction & cover up of lying and incompetnent ministers.
6. The twice elected right honourable Daniel Andrews has ensured 3 ministers are no longer working when it showed they hadn't been doing the job they ought to have been doing: that is leadership. Indeed the health miniter was a friend of his. At the same time he held an enquiry.
7. Daniel Andrews has presided over the 3 ministers being forced to leave. Just how many ministers has Scotty from marketing moved on for their incompetence and lying? (tip: it rhymes with hero) Wink Razz

You really don't get this.

Some casuals in Hospitality didn't get Jobkeeper because they didn't meet the criteria of being employed at the one place long enough. Lots of them did get it. The ones who weren't eligible for jobkeeper could get job seeker instead, same as people in the Arts. Talk about not letting the facts get in the way of a good fallacy. Razz

Universities didn't close, they just pivoted to mostly online learning. Their revenue projections took a massive hit because of the loss of overseas students but they all had significant financial reserves so while in no danger of going into receivership it forced them to stop spending like sailors on the first shore leave in months and tighten up.

States get some money from the Feds, they get plenty of their own money from state taxes like Payroll Tax and Stanp Duty. Why should the feds give teflon Dandrews more money when he can't manage what he already has?

Teflon Dandrews has pushed people under a bus to cover his own arse and create scapegoats. If that's what you call leadership I need to have a chat to your HR people. Razz

The right Honourable Scott Morrison on the other hand has demonstrated true leadership by standing by ministers who haven't been proven to have done anything wrong (certainly not been responsible for 800+ deaths) rather than giving in to noisy yappers making unsubstantiated allegations.

Let’s not forget the secretary of DPC allegedly withheld vital and crucial information which Dan claims would have completely changed his decisions and Dan did nothing.

Stui, Stui, Stui:

Robodebt unsubstantiated: yeah right 🙄Your mate Scotty just settled out of court. Scotty meekly apologised for his total f*ckup. Just between you and me let’s call that substantiated.

The Government paid $30 million for land worth $3 mill. There’s been enquires: let’s call that substantiated

Angus Taylor apologised to Clover Moore for lying to Parliament over claims from his office that she and her colleagues spent millions: thats substantiated

Scotty from Marketing has not moved one on of all the substantiated facts. Not one.

The right honourable Daniel Andrews who was twice elected btw has moved 3 ministers on for wrong doing:

The Premier 3, Scotty from Marketing 0

This isn’t hard to get ur head around.

Now you're no better than those exonerating Dan of all wrongdoing.

Roar, I’m tempted to let the Liberal and Labor diehards on here get into a ring and wrestle it out, Graeco-Roman style. Laughing

Your premise is incorrect. No one has exonerated the twice elected right honourable Premier of Victoria Daniel Andrews of all wrongdoing. That’s why your conclusions with respect to the twice elected Premier of Victoria the right honourable Daniel Andrews are invariably incorrect too.

I'm curious which 3 ministers you think he's moved on.

He sacked Somyurek for being beter at branch stacking but being caught (to be fair he'd have sacked Somyurek for breathing too loud, he just needed an excuse) so that's 1.

Mikakos resigned after he threw her under a bus to protect his own arse, so who's the other 2 he's sacked?
