Memo to self, don't leave the workboots on the back porch again.

Went to put them on this morning, pulled the sock out and gave it a shake to get any grass out and a massive Huntsman fell out. Shocked

I normally leave spiders alone but this one nearly gave me a brown pants moment so I introduced it to the heel of the boot while I got my heart rate back below 120

Haha, try it with a motorcycle helmet... Shocked Inside the bloody visor...not want... Surprised

NO. Shocked

This line from the end of a news article:

Quote:
Earlier this year, a New Zealand cabinet minister had her live TV interview was interrupted by her son, who entered the room excitedly brandishing a phallic carrot.

Questions that come to mind:

1) Aren't all carrots kind of phallic?
2) Why would this context, in particular, make you think of using that adjective!?

Reminds me of the Blackadder episode when the puritanical Whiteadders came to dinner and inadvertently got drunk and were laughing at at a turnip shaped like a dick.

I just went out the front and heard this really strange noise.

At first I thought someone was raping a cat, but after a few more seconds I realised, it was just someone practicing the Bagpipes. Shocked Wink

I agree. What he did was dumb, no doubt, but it was investigated years ago and he was found to have no case to answer. She was clearly flirting with him and while that doesn't justify sending a dick pic (I'm not sure what does justify it TBH) she's not an innocent victim here.

To his job, unfortunately with the current environment, he could not have continued as Captain. Too divisive.

So that's 2 captains down in recent years, 1 for Ball Tampering and one for Dick Picks. Hopefully Cummins can resist giving someone a Nipple Cripple

The biggest irony is buried down the bottom – the series is, from what I understand, a pretty brutal critique of capitalism and inequality in South Korea, which you would think is right in line with how the North wants that culture represented. But of course I suppose there's a leap between that and successfully communicating Juche doctrine on screen. Laughing

Well, it's a dystopian fantasy, not a literal representation, and could just as easily be set in the US (if not here). But perhaps PTID would have more on-the-ground insight into the extent of inequality and lack of safety nets for the poor there.

Going up to Toc tomorrow, mow the lawns and chill Just checked the weather forecast, tomorrow 32 and sunny, Saturday 39 and stormy. Shocked

Last few days up there all over 30, going to have to reset the timer for the watering system. Might even check if the river is suitable for a swim, It was pretty high 2 weeks ago.
