LOL, sounds like the perfect compromise would be a pedal powered kitchen. 100% renewable energy, Mrs WPT cooks the cakes while you provide the electricity trying to burn off calories from the cakes. Laughing Wink

😂😉

We’re finally getting a dishwasher bedsides moi and Mrs WPT. Went to Freedom got plans paid a deposit then decided to try a local company who I’ve used before (they do kitchens, plumbing, roof work and construction) they did my Mum’s place a few years ago which cost an arm and a leg (extensive sewerage work) and a lot more with a Mum who was had memory issues then but not formally diagnosed. Jesus that was a lot of work….my neighbour who is a retired builder said the bloke we’re hopefully getting does very good work but you pay for it. I’m dipping into a bit of super for it.

Geezus Shocked

What are you doing, building an industrial kitchen and hiring a full time Chef?

I wouldn't know what to do in one of these modern kitchens with bench space everywhere, I've always had small ones with no space and learned how to work with it.

Nah just a small kitchen which is one part of the business nearby (they make their own cabinets in their warehouse/factory/showroom.

It’s a small space with an island bench but stone tops and glass splash backs: white mostly 🤔

Hopefully won’t be too long till they’re back in Melbourne semi-permanently.

That’s awesome for you, and the pay bonus, well done you xx

Lucky not to be hamstrung by the Andrews Labor Governments ridiculous wages policy. Who’d think a Labor Government would so harshly restrict wage increases, although giving themselves massive bonuses.

Thanks TP, we’re flying up on Monday then driving my Mum’s 2007 Toyota Corolla ultima back on Thursday. Drove Mum’s car up last November which they could use up there.

Do you even fit in a corolla? Shocked

My observations are they were built for people under 170cm and 60kg

Just finished a really good 1500m swim, maybe Thorpey on This Is Your Life last night inspired me. A few of the things he said when they quizzed him about the size of his feet; timing, stroke length and breathing, were all going through my head. Feeling a million bucks Smile

Nice work. I can't do freestyle for long, don't have the rhythm or technique. When I swim in the Murray over summer I do about 1km with the current and do a mix of breast stroke and backstroke. Still works the muscles.

What made me happy today was dealing with competent people. Got to ring the RACV Thursday morning to get the ute towed to the mechanic for repair. Rang them to let them know I can't pre book it but I'll call when it's on the way, all good. Checked if I was able to go away for the weekend, all good, repair might take into next week, she'll call me when it's done.

Too easy.
