During last night's game it dawned on me that Brodie Grundy is clearly the best player at our club now. So who do you guys think our three best players are?

I'll go:

1. Brodie Grundy

2. Adam Treloar

3. Scott Pendlebury

*Jeremy Howe would probably be number three if he wasn't injured.

Yeah, his vision and ability to spot players on their own and then hit them lace out is breathtaking at times.

1. Pendles yes smartest, and vision & ability, a true once in a life time player - and i wasnt always a fan!

1. Grundy, i cant separate them! Grundy is a freak of nature, so mobile for such a big guy!

3. De Goey & Treloar when they are ON, Howe & Moore backline supreme,

im wanting much more from WHE, last night i saw some of it.

4. Adams, leadership qualities - maxy was never our best player, but a truly magnificent captain, Adams to me is Shaw without the tantrums!

And that is the trade that broke our hearts, but knowing it will eventually pay off, and save for some putrid maggot umpires, should have already in 2018.

As the top 3 most talented players wax and wain as they naturally do, I reckon Bruv Maynard would in the top 3 of the coach's votes week in, week out.

He should be polling well in the 2020 Copeland, you'd expect...

Hard question - I took the tack that who would I pick first for the jobs that need to be done in a particular position

Grundy leads by a mile - rucks, gets his own ball and creates opportunities for others

Moore stops load of attacks and increasingly rebounds to set up our own

the last one is a huge toss up

Pendles wins the last spot because he is just so damaging - often stops attacks and loads up for rebounds. Can't believe he is playing so well at his age, in this year which is being dominated by the super quick players

if I could pick a fourth it would be Adams - tough in and under who makes everyone else better. In the last couple of years he has improved his disposal and is the obvious next captain

Interesting question whose answer depends upon definition of best.

Most important? (i.e. player we could least afford to lose)
Grundy
Moore
Mihocek

Most talented?
DeGoey
Pendles
Sidey

Most consistent?
Pendles
Treloar
Maynard

Best? Any combination of the above would be ok, but I'd add Howe to the mix as well.

^Grundy never gets beaten. I'd say that makes him one the most consistent. No one has taken him to the cleaners yet. Maynard got towelled up by Toby Greene.
