absolutely the point

but if we go into final unencumbered by injuries, why are Dunn and Greenwood injured?

PS...Cameron at FF is a joke right? You realise we traded for Darcy Cameron and not Jeremy Cameron.

They both have long-term injuries as of today... finals would be in 6+ months so presumably they will recover but you never know - we thought Dunn was going to be playing last year too. So the point is they both have a question mark over them currently

Then how are they interchange in the reserves? They are either ready to go or not?

The OP is confusing / confused. We're either injury free or if we have long term injuries, then put them in a new category.....not as interchange in the reserve list. Don't know why you struggle to comprehend this.

By the time finals are played - say November / December, I would expect Greenwood to be healthy as, most likely would Dunn.

^^^^

And given that both Dunn and Greenwood are both over thirty and have come off three knee recos between them, I would be a bit concerned if either of them were in consideration for our best 22.
Both been good servants but if we’re going forward, then they are now depth at best.

The concept of the OP is pretty simple: post YOUR team selections for the 2020 finals. Not nitpick the hell out of his

If you think a soon-to-be 33yo and a 31yo both with history of serious injuries, should displace other players in our best 22 when they return, then post away

Cameron is, at present, behind Rupert Wills as a backup ruckman for Grundy. He might one day be an AFL player but, let’s face it, he looked way less convincing in the preseason than Gault did - and we all know how that ended.

127 Supercoach points generally is the sum of:

* contested marks
* goals
* effective hitouts
* impact

That's what he in fact showed

So, if he showed so much, why did the Club not select him? Answer: he's back-up, until he shows something serious in the VFL.

Bux is a conservatist when it comes to selection. Mason is the incumbent and with a recent USA holiday together, a Bux favourite. That aside, Mark Keane was fantastic in his one and only pre-season match against the Tigers and he was squeezed out for subsequent selection due to a rare low injury count.

Time shall be the determinant.

Just rewatched the game against the Bulldogs. That was just an amazing game. I think we underestimate it, due to the absence of crowd feedback. Our domination was utterly complete. it expressed something special. I hope to god this season can resume, because there is utterly a magic energy that drove this game.
