His innings sees Victoria set up nicely, for full points. 330 on day 1, at the Gabba, is indeed meritorious. I don't have the stats but I suggest it's been quite some time since 300+ was achieved on Day 1 - esp. after being sent in.

*AND ... only 76 overs were bowled.
