To say this is excellent news would be a bit of an under-statement!  
One club players, especially those of the calibre of Pendles are such a rarity these days and the new contract makes that more likely. The loyalty inherent in this is something I hugely admire. |

The amount of energy and distraction during that time of negotiations is a blight to the game and the player involved.
