When one walks towards the Westpac centre at Collingwood Football Club. One is greeted by the legendary bronze statue of Club Legend and Premiership player Bob Rose. Now next to him will be a man of many smiles has also been turned into bronze. It is the ever smiling goalsneak and 200+ game holder Tarkyn Lockyer.
" We wanted to have a player in bronze who is always happy" said an unknown club offical. " Many statues in society are too stern and lack humanity. I think this one reflects the true person".
Tarkyn Lockyer has yet to see his statue. As he has been busy preparing his VFL charges for the 2012 SEASON.

When I drove past this morning, I thought though they were putting up a Stephen Pattison statue.
But it was just Swan St roadworks and it turned out to be a witches hat... |

and after 3rd has coached us to our next flag, there will be a statue erected of 3rd thus completing the triumvirate - literally, in order it will be going from the sublime to the ridiculous.
