Very important to keep the guys who can kick goals. We don’t have many. Elliott is second amongst our current players on the career goals list. Scarily, Pendles (178) is ahead of him and Sidey (161) is just behind him (164).

Well done Jamie.

Great news and great loyalty.

Hope you lift the Cup in those 2 years.

Therein lays our issue surely? Get Jenkins as a stop gap and find something in the 2021 off season which may be at the expense of one of our guns.

Lets look not at size but the advantage of having two exceptional forwards

The combo of Lynch and Riewoldt can devistate a back line taking best and second best backs allowing mids and others more chances

Same with JDG and Billy they require attention from two good defence to stop them getting to space and using their hard attack and swift scoring

Good boy Jamie. The forward line with you and JDG inside 50 is a much bigger threat than one without you in it.

Let's hope you can stay fit and healthy over the preseason. Would love to see you at your best for the entire season!

Great outcome and I’m a slab better off for that result

Oh and I can already see one of Nicks many 2020 threads already. The next time Elliot misses a game for the Pies it will be something like “ We should’ve let Elliot go to Brisbane when we had the chance “ ** Sigh **

It's great news for us, Jamie and for the whole culture and spirit amongst our players.

So was Ned Guy - he just didn't want to get them at the cost of losing our most consistent goal-kicker. In any event, no-one really wanted the 3rd-round pick we were going to get as compensation for Jamie.

Brilliant news. A real relief.
