Tom Phillips was picked at number 58 and plays football like a pick 20-25 so that is a win. His foibles are obvious but hardly to be in line for trade given he just extended his deal and represents the archetypal modern running winger. _________________ I love the Pies, hate Carlscum |

A disappointment as far as I’m concerned. He is behind Pendles, Steele, Treloar, Adams & a fully fit Beams thus meaning he will probably never get a tag, is also an elite runner but just hasn’t been able to take his game to the next level. _________________ Human behavioural studies suggest people who use a lot of swear words tend to be more honest & trustworthy. |

Neither did Beams, and he's worth two first rounders; whats your point? |

If you were talking to me Muchacho, you should know that Beams did gain votes in the 2019 Brownlow

Without trying to defend Phillips, if you are using brownlow votes to support your argument then you are clutching at straws.
Oh and by the way, Phillips is #1 at Collingwood for metres gained but no doubt that counts for nothing in your view... _________________ "You must be a parking ticket, cuz you got fine written all over you" Glen Quagmire |

Crisp's runs are a lot more damaging than Phillips
And if Phillips is the elite runner he is thought to be, where are all the chase-down tackles
With all due-respect to the young Man, Not Premiership quality IMO _________________ The Artist Formerly known as... |

Tackling, pressure, clearences, chase-downs, 1%'s, contested marks, accurate kicking, killing the ball/stopping play etc
Oh, but that's not Phillips job to do

That is very funny!
Fair dinkum the ferals come out after a loss😖
sad s-cks all having a bloody sook.
Maybe I’m getting very old but over the years I have seen my beloved magpies win, lose and draw. That happens in sport. Stop whinging and get ready for the next season.
I prefer to accept reality and trust that the club knows what needs to be done, unlike random posters here. Let’s support their efforts and carry on supporting, which is our main job🥺🥺 _________________ Don't confuse your current path with your final destination.
