How can anyone claim that our players lack heart after last year?? Nothing adds up right now. It is a mindset issue clearly. The confidence has gone, and for something else has gone as well. Bucks excoriating our team publicly. We make an effort this time, but cannot control the ball by hand. Totally bereft of the lightning handball skills we saw earlier in the season, and totally lacking in any confidence to move the ball. It is not inherent lack of talent. Somethiing else is wrong.

Agree MTTM. Distinct lack of confidence is obvious with fumbles, missed marks, ill directed handballs, avoiding the middle etc. Yes, it is a mind-set thing IMHO. Last season we had an impossible dream to chase and had nothing to lose. It was exciting and the boys set aside all caution to meet the challenge. This season we've had to carry the expectations of coaches, media and supporters. This is such an inhibiting, dreary burden to carry.

I reckon Bucks should just stand back this week and leave it to the players to work out what they want from this season and what they're going to have to do to get it.

That simply means we have a team of pea hearts. Dont play pro sports if you do t welcome the pressure. Weak as piss.

Shame we are playing garbage then....Not a chance in snowballs hell of beating them next week.

They will be licking their lips looking forward to pumping us.

Yep, as if they’re gonna cough up a chance at second spot, they’re not Collingwood, only WE fk things up like that, it’s in our DNA.

That f***in pisses me off considering how often he's illegally shoved under the ball when leading. Give me a f****ing break.

He did not have a good game, but hey, he had bout 15 guys who were no better than him, he was far from alone in the ordinary stakes. Confused

Mm agree and disagree. Leigh Matthews was saying tonight that the team has changed how they transition into F50, and that they seem to lack any confidence in finding a marking target. They singled out Cox's form as an obvious factor, and it seems that way. The whole side ends up over-using the ball when hugging the boundary, and our skill errors are exposed. And when Cox can't bring the ball to ground, the other players don't even get a shot at crumbing the spoils. So I'd say his form has significant impact across the board.

However, there simply is no one else fit. Until Reid is fit, we really just need to hope Cox finds some of his 2018 form.

Won't get within 80 points of the Wiggles. They're just starting to warm.up, we're a pathetic mess, spiraling out of the 8.

See the betting thread later in the week, I'll give you the good mail.

Port Adelaide beat em in Perth with so called dirty football, as did some other team recently, in Perth too. Im not saying we can win it, but I just think if we are gross underdogs, it might free us up a bit, play with a bit of daring an flair cos now we just look sluggish, and hesitant, an no spark. Maybe we need a challenge like this, backs to the wall stuff.

Hey Mason stop drinking your own bath water. Get off the media get off doing all the ads. Concentrate on your football instead if your media career. Same goes for Treloar.

The fact that our forward line is basically a 1 v 3 EVERY time means something ain’t right. The fact that players steaming from defence through the wing look up and still kick to a heavily outnumbered forwardline means we are eithe dumb, or are extremely dumb. I just don’t get it. I also don’t get how with 45 secs to go, out forwardline was a 1 v 5 ??? A quick kick from the middle simply falls in a Hawk lap. Game over. Is there ANY leadership in he middle? Clearly the lack of on-field runners has completely destroyed our dumb as sh!t team. Sorry, but we have mostly dumb F footballers in our team. One of the lowest IQ levels across the competition.

You have either not witnessed the last two
months of football or you are the most optimistic Collingwood supporter on here.
Apart from Greenwood and Adams, none of the other players will be back any time soon.

Deleted this disgusting, defeatist image from my reply. Those who respond to defeats by ridiculing our players are not behaving like true supporters. Ours is not to weep, but to understand.

This is just so frustrating overall. The players don’t seem to have responded at all.
I can’t work out whether it’s the coaches or the players not listening. Just where has it gone wrong.
Our ball movement is slow
The players are making basic skill errors again
Why the change from last years fast energetic game style.
We have no structure
I’m so frustrated I don’t think I can watch anymore

Yes 1 minute to go and outnumbered 5 to 1 in the forward line.
And we are 3 points down.
Beyond belief and beyond intelligence. absolutely poor coaching or poor leadership...take your pick.
