Wa umpire Deam Maggotts seemed to be all over the play. Demons had a chance to legally run through Kennedy in third and didn't.
like to know how everyone stops, umpire calls play on, player slammed into ground and penalised and goes off concussed. So if the player is suspended or fined for rough conduct do they drop the umpire.

The tabloid is running with this story now: "Vardy slammed for Gawn cheap shot".
It wasn't just Vardy, either. We don't want the AFL to be a police state, but this is the sort of niggle that leads to players getting king hit. |
