Umpiring decisions sometimes go your way and sometimes they don't.... we have been on the wrong end plenty of times
So bombers supporters can cry me a river
And to all those on Nicks who rubbished Pendles in the pre season calling for him to give up the captaincy, saying he was done etc etc I give you exhibit A _________________ It doesn't matter what happens.... I just love this bloody club! |

No one has yet mentioned Greenwood. If anyone is not up to it, it’s Greenwood. The game has passed him by, it has for a while.
Every other player who has been bagged in this thread showed a bit at various times in the game. Levi, not so much. |
Did Levi play on Shiel? |

Depends on what Greenwood was asked to do? Who did he tag?
I thought Varcoe was the clear odd man out today and has been in 4 of the 5 games he has played this year.
It's worrying |

Greenwood was personally responsible for a two-goal turnaround our way in the third quarter. He’s not one of my favourites but I thought he stood up when it counted. |

We got smashed in clearances which is a concern - but apart from that, I don't think we were outplayed as much some folks are suggesting. The drug cheats kicked some arsy goals and we missed some sitters. If anything i felt the game was evenly matched after our 33pt lead and the margin would have resembled that if we didn't give away the 5 easy misses.
The class of Pendles, Steele and de goey got us over the line in the final 10 mins. |
We weren’t outplayed at all. Another day, with that much of the footy, we’d beat them by 10 goals. |

Sier, Aish, Elliott, Wells, Goldsack, Scharenberg, Murray, Dunn, T.Brown, Kelly, Wills, Mayne, Reid, Daicos, Appleby, Quaynor, Bosenavulagi, Crocker, Lynch, Murphy
None of the above played today
Depth is good when all fit and well.
Keep a real good eye on Kelly, Murphy, Tyler Brown and Daicos- very fine young talent.. _________________ Firm in the belief that number 17 flag is only months away... |

Another pretty good game from Callum Brown. Not sure if it means he retains his spot when Elliott returns, but he's showing a bit. The play where he won the ball in defence and then ran on and hit up a pass was excellent. _________________ Well done boys! |

any chance we get those three again. |
They must all be Pies supporters.
Seriously though; most on here are so quick to blame the umpires for every loss but few acknowledge when we get the good end of it. Well I can tell ya; we got it today. |
The 2 x frees in front of Ess goal (against Grundy and Langdon) beg to differ.
