Devon Smith has been rested and Daniher introduced cautiously via VFL, just so they are "cherry ripe" for the Pies.
(Okay, I didn't hear Worsfold say "cherry ripe", but if he were at the Pies, that's what he'd say. He'd also say "Joe Daniher has done a power of work.") |

Had to. There was already a 'who comes in for ....' topic
I'd rather open the Pre Match thread at the completion of each round.
Although, it doesn't replace the Post Match topic so, no biggy. _________________ Donny.

They have a few downhill skiers so an early smash is important, like tonight. Hopefully they will have a bruising game tomorrow. Go Roos. _________________ Annoying opposition supporters since 1967. |

Darcy Parish is a gun. Who will tag him? |

Will Varcoe make the line-up for Anzac Day? I see he only played 58% of game time last night. Is he carrying an injury or is the Coach losing confidence in him? |

Hopefully, perhaps just managing him??? He does work and run extremely hard.
Varcoe consistently shows that you don't have to be a star to influence a game. The smother that resulted in Beamsy's goal was inspirational stuff and he did a few other extremely clever tap ons. I noticed too that he was often completely on his own in or near the forward line, but was by-passed in favour of the forward guns. No dropping of the head from him though. He's a team man through and through. |

They have taken a punt, and will cop a fine, because he is now playing in the game against the Roos this arvo.
They must be desperate to get their season back on track. _________________ Social club member 7342 since 2000. |

Is this serious? Parish was an early draft pick but was out of the team at the start of the year. |

I guess that's an "I don't know who will tag him", then? |

I still don't know if you're being serious!
The bigger concern may be AM-T. We have a history of making mediocre small forwards look good. Maynard on him? |

Ham and Ambrose will be dropped for Zaharakis and Smith. Wouldn't be surprised if Parish is dropped either.
Shiel, Merrett and Heppell killing North today. Fantasia with 4 on the scoreboard.
But North do not bat as deep as Collingwood do.
Still, I was much happier when Essendon were losing games. Now they've won three in a row. Against Melb, Bris and now North.
We are overall the better team, but that does not mean we'll be the best on the day. Essendon will be confident. We'll need to snuff them out early. _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |
