Not live in my case but a very interesting prospect was young Lynch
What were your thoughts—does he at 19yrs old have an AFL future
Liked his tap work but more impressive was his field play and winning his own ball —that tap from centre then burst out of contest to grab the loose ball
That little gem where he was right in goal and quick thinking got him a goal _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |

^^Yep. Beat Luenberger for mine, looked good.
As this has turned into the anything VFL thread, also liked Murphy and Appleby. We've got some pretty good prospects coming through. _________________ Well done boys! |

Don’t want him back. Look to the future now. Would be leaving Brown in though he’s a much different player. Fas I could take or leave. Crocker has been good and deserves his spot. _________________ The match day thread is for unfiltered BS knee jerk reactions. The time for level headed comment comes after. |

Must admit I assumed he was a VFL listed player. He was good. _________________ 'Collingwood are the Bradmans of Football'

Both McLarty and Lynch looked good, which is great, as we have missed some big man depth for quite a while. Given that big blokes often take several years to come on, it’s very promising to see these guys improving so rapidly. |

Wells looked good. Yes. But not sure who gets dropped for him. I guess who ever is not quite right after the short break. I still worry he'll break down mid game. When do we get any level of confidence?
Faz is nipping at the heels of Crocker. Faz has more xfactor and silk. Crocker has more work ethic and defensive edge. Faz does have an AA season in him if he could get consistency. But at the moment it's not clear cut Crocker vs Faz.
Wills impresses me. A beast at the contest. Come wet winter days dropping a tall for Wills would be a good move.
Like Wills, Seir is big unit now too. He impressed too. Best game I've seen him play. He could get his debut this year at some stage.
McLarty is tracking well, but still needs time.
Daicos showed he will be an AFL player. Little things he does that are level above. Like jumping to catch the ball and releasing the hand ball accurately before hitting the ground.
Murphy showed a bit too. |

Damien was curious on Lynch —-VFL or AFL listed and I must admit not sure
In the Collingwood list he has an asterisk beside his name (rookie ????)
That was best blended game from Faz with parts of his mark and accurate kick for goal and parts of a defensive game which coach remarked on
Wills could come in only if they consider resting players (4 day tiredness) and only if it fits the team set up —Sier very close too
McLarty is bit shy of ready and Lynch more so
Common to all mentioned—-a bright future if they keep improving and keep off sick Bay lists _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |

Re Faz, I must have watched a different game, then again you do see a lot less on TV. I saw no defensive pressure and yes he kicked 4 goals but he should as he is above that level. He gets the cheap kicks out the back and for a player of his ability he should be smashing it at VFL level. I cannot put him in the seniors at the moment. He needs to do a lot more or Crocker has to do a lot less. If Wells pulls up fine he has to come in for the Tigers but who do you drop? Good problem to have. |
