How far has this club fallen when supporters cheer an opponent and boo their own player. _________________ Fighting against the objectification of woman. |

No surprises. Pretty much what I expected.
Our defence will keep us in games, but our forward line issues haven’t changed.
This should be Buckley’s final year. No questions asked. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 |

Score line flattered us. Smashing. Never in it. Ruscoe not up to it but if that’s our depth it’s going to be a long season. Carlton is gonna hurt but we’re one step closer to a competent coach! _________________ The match day thread is for unfiltered BS knee jerk reactions. The time for level headed comment comes after. |

Keep an opponent under 70...still lose by 3 goals.
Our ability tear in year out to mess up easy two on one and three on one contests inside 50 for gimme goals is astounding. I think we literally handed back 5 walk in goals.
I’m expected to renew my membership and pay to watch THIS amateur shit?

Dire.
Forget kicking we can’t even catch the ball.
How Buckley can keep turning up to work and collecting a pay check is beyond me. _________________ Sydney Collingwood Supporters Club

I have a few catchers mitts here they can have for nothing, maybe they'll be able to catch the ball with those? _________________ WE WERE ROBBED, RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME, RIGHT IN FRONT OF MEEE!

Is it just me or does it seem like some supporters should look up the meaning of supporters. _________________ In the end, it's not going to matter how many breaths you took, but how many moments took your breath away |

Clearly this will be Buckley’s last year, but I think Hine should go with him.Did you see some of our young guns tonight? They looked slow and bland,Hine specialties. He never recruits indigenous players, players with a bit of speed, skill and flair. It’s always these vanilla utility types with him who add nothing to the team.I’m hoping he goes with Buckley at the end of the year, and we get a recruiter who values a bit of speed and skill for a change. |

We're too slow, inept and make countless costly mistakes that result in turnovers time and time again. We also have a number of players who are either not up to standard, or past their prime. We have not recruited well and it will take years before we can turn it around and start competing again. We looked defeated from the get go. The dogs were hungry and wanted it more. They were faster and harder while we were left chasing their tails all night. What opportunities we had we pissed against the wall. Our forward line is dysfunctional and one dimensional. Our midfield lacks poise and competitiveness while our defence seems like the only positive. Going forward I can't see us winning many games playing like this. We don't seem to have improved from last years and there was nothing to suggest we will. |

To script, predicted final margin pre game.Sier, Thomas, WHE, Ruscoe, Brown X 2, Noble, Madgen wouldn't get games with any other side, but Bucks will play them week in week out. Even our good players are not good enough. Moore is the only decent one among them _________________ "Hey Ma get off the dang roof!" |

I really find words difficult to express my disappointment with their game tonight
I want to be positive and am positive about many aspects of their game
Tackling—several stuck but many after executed the opposition was allowed to run on whilst Collingwood player just stayed on the deck and watched-I thought you got up quick and back into contest
Their kicking was only marginally better that their marking and to see Skipper drop the easiest floored me
Decision making was average
So I’m positive it was poor
I would not say it was up to AFL standards _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right
