They were Australian made cars, by Holden under licence from general Motors in the USA. You may have seen them on the road, usually driven by the clients of those no win -no fee ambulance chasers some people refer to as lawyers. |
Now owned (most by via Motor Finance Wizard) by single parents with ill fitting child refrains (if any) or scummy blokes with hoodies.
More often than not it's stolen or about to be as the security in them was pretty poor... have not seen a decent one around without panel damage or broken back window for at least 10 years.
A VPN is a cut and shut between these two models of cars - usually welded together by a guy who name ends in "O" - MickO or SteveO or BarryO (one for the wrestling fans) |

Used those at Tafe to get Around Blocked Sites Thought that was about 7-8 Years Ago.
I brought a VPN from Private Internet Access as Optus(My New ISP) Slows Torrent Download Speeds _________________ I am Da Man |

Guys, nearly a year on since we floated this - can anybody validate which VPNs are solid for torrenting, and which ones aren't keeping our anonymity secured? _________________ M I L L A N E 4 2 forever |

They do not monitor you and will not pass on your information. https://www.expressvpn.com/what-is-vpn |

So you guys are mainly interested in using VPNs for the anonymity (rather than to get access to content that is otherwise unavailable)?
By the parenthesized words, I'm thinking of e.g. getting AFL or other sports coverage from overseas. |

Though would you need a VPN as most would allow Streaming in Australia and Away from Australia for the AFL _________________ I am Da Man |

I know, for example, that the video replay links MagpieBat posts will not work from overseas. |

I have an amazon Fire Stick (given to me by the future in-laws) that has been cracked and I can stream anything off that. My VPN is to get past Geo blocking whether I am in Australia or Overseas. |

I guess those two are not free, and you don't like the restrictions on the free ones. Is that correct? For just the geo. restrictions, have you considered the browser plugins/addons that apparently can just change the region? (I don't know anything about these.) |

An article full of contradictions, in saying that VPN subscriptions is a nice earner for many. |
Well the Government TRYING to Block Sites have Driven a lot of People to getting a VPN.
NordVPN even has a AD on TV _________________ I am Da Man |

And Aussies are forced to use a VPN or proxy servers to make it appear that they are in another country to get around the geoblock. Of course these people wont show as "Australian" users in the stats and research. _________________ How would Siri know when to answer "Hey Siri" unless it is listening in to everything you say? |
