Do you get homesick from butchering the footy. If so that dude is on his death bed. |

I wonder if he was homesick whilst in jail??
If the pies want to keep him, that guy has got to stay.
How does one look at themselves in the mirror otherwise, after how much the club stood by him when it would've been a whole lot easier PR wise to have just cut him loose.
(His actual football is a completely different discussion.)
I hope that one-liner is way off the mark. _________________ "I am a great sage, equal of heaven.

Yeah, I'd agree. Would rely on match payments to bolster his income and would have had to play every game to push up to $350k or beyond. Next contract would be the 1 where he'd be looking to lock away the $350-400k. |

Ok people Ill ask you all for your opinion of what you think Marley is worth, if he was to be traded for a pick.....
My opinion is around pick 30, remembering he had a great 2013 getting 7th in the copeland and received a rising star award same year.
2014 was his courtcase year, but still came back and had impact towards end of year.
2015 played 20 games and was first one picked, played some great games.
Surely he has some worth and could flourish in WA.
Is pick 30 too high or too low, considering his best years are ahead of him? _________________ Carpe diem quam minimum credula postero. |

I'm hopeful he remains a Pie but a mid-late 2nd rounder seems about right. |

I wasn't a huge fan because of his kicking accuracy coming out of defense but he offers everything else at a high level and if he gets a good kicking coach it could make him a very good player.
However homesickness is something largely out of collingwoods control. _________________ Carpe diem quam minimum credula postero. |

Not a very important player to our team. And not one we'd need to find a replacement for.
If I was choosing between Ricky Henderson and Marley, it'd definitely be Henderson. Not all that similar as players though. Hendo and Tooves are more alike and he'd be an upgrade. _________________ Well done boys! |

No way I'd live away from home for such a paltry amount. You cant feed a family on that sum these days. Needs to be a 7 figure number to make me move away from home. _________________ Ohhh, the Premiership's a cakewalk ....... |
