Adelaide fail.
What's the bet one of Sydney and Geelong also fail to gift the Hawks a home final. _________________ Fighting against the objectification of woman. |

Some consequences of this result:
GWS got the result they need to land a top 4 berth. They now just need to win and they'll be in (leapfrogging at least Adelaide and West Coast, and potentially also Sydney, Geelong and Hawthorn depending on how those matches go – they could still finish 1st!). Lose and they probably don't even get a home elimination final.
Sydney are now virtually guaranteed to finish top 4 even if they lose. The exception would be if Richmond beat them by over 53 points and GWS, Hawthorn and Geelong won. A win and they get the minor premiership.
The Bulldogs officially can't make top 4 now. A home elimination is the best they can manage if they win and one of Hawthorn or GWS lose.
West Coast have made the top 4 tonight, but will be back out again if either of GWS or Hawthorn win.
Hawthorn now need to win to make the top 4. A loss and they're up for an elimination final against the Bulldogs or North.
Adelaide have put their top 4 hopes in jeopardy, but will still make it if one of Geelong, Hawthorn or GWS loses. They could even still finish 1st if all those teams lose and Sydney go down by over 53 points.
If Geelong win, they get a home qualifying final. Lose, and they finish 3rd, 4th or potentially 5th.
MOST LIKELY MATCH UPS:
(If Geelong, Sydney, GWS, Hawthorn and the Bulldogs win)
QF1: Sydney vs GWS (Stadium Australia)
QF2: Geelong vs Hawthorn (MCG)
EF1: Adelaide vs North (Adelaide Oval)
EF2: West Coast vs Bulldogs (Subiaco) _________________ "Every time we witness an injustice and do not act, we train our character to be passive in its presence." – Julian Assange |

And how does last night's result affect Collingwood's chances of playing finals? |

Simply apply this formula: y/100 = 1958x(2x - 8 + x²) where x = 2, y is our chance of playing finals and the board is fully behind Nathan Buckley. _________________ "Every time we witness an injustice and do not act, we train our character to be passive in its presence." – Julian Assange |
