Given the press didn't name him and the general consensus in the media seems to play him as the victim I can guarantee its not a Collingwood player.
If it was a pies lad, Robbo would have named him and Caro would have been calling for him to be sacked by now. |

It's not hard to know who the player is if you do a quick Google search, but some of these players have manure for brains.

Judging by some of the sites his photos ended up on he will have have trouble paying for a drink in any gay bar in the USA. Hopefully this is the wake up call they all need.
Can't see why they have not named the player when it is common Knowledge. They didn't have any trouble naming Saints and Pies players in the past.
One thing, his tagger will have plenty of ammo.

Not so sure that is true - if that shooter is brown and linked to islam... everyone knows about it! And has something to say about it...
What is more evident these days is if the victims of a mass shooting or suicide bomber/terrorist act come from a moslem country then it barely gets a mention...

Think some of you are being overly harsh on this guy. Yes, it's embarrassing for him. But shit happens, and everyone will have forgotten about it in a week's time.
But if you want to apportion blame in situations like this, the guilty parties are the people who unethically 'leak' or publish intimate photos, not the people whose trust (no matter how naive or misguided) ends up betrayed. And I really question the media's judgement in reporting this, too, although it's good they've at least shown the minimum decency in not naming the player (a practice we will follow on here for the foreseeable future, incidentally – innuendo will be deleted).

You don't see a double-standard in the news reporting harking back to Cloke and Swan from last season and naming them again, on the one hand, and being much too nice to name this North player, on the other?
Sure, the news about this clown will die down in a week if they don't name him and don't suggest it repeatedly as a likely reason that North's season might be derailed - but why should the media be permitted to regurgitate last year's vomit, after they've licked it up? It appears to me to be unethical in the extreme. |
