^Great.
Well, now I understand why Mal wrecked the NBN. His cyber defence strategy is to make sure Australia's Internet so slow, military hackers give up and move on to third-world nations
As we speak, it's taking aeons to download the 2016 Defence White Paper. China must've received a paper copy; how else would they even know what's in it to issue a complaint?!

Must be an election happening. This is the other version of law & order.
Military upgrade is required not doubt. The tanks are well past their use buy date & as noted earlier this is building on past materiel acquisition. However are we so much worse off if we have 1-2 less submarines?
The newer technology is in non-manned subs as an addition to the fleet which would reduce the expense of 12 subs

If not we could always acquire the Tannin:

Mind you his periscope hasn't been sighted for a while.
Then again we could enter into an agreement with New Zealand: In the event of war we'll give up New Zealand. Hopefully, the Chinese or Thai regimes beat us & not the Indonesians, don't like their food. _________________ “I even went as far as becoming a Southern Baptist until I realised they didn’t keep ‘em under long enough” Kinky Friedman |

According to the log, only six sightings in 11 weeks, captain. Radar suggests that he may have last been seen heading in the direction of the Cape of Good Birdwatching.

Depends what topic we're discussing. If it's WW2, you might need a harpoon. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

It's a relief knowing we can now beat the Chinese. _________________ “I even went as far as becoming a Southern Baptist until I realised they didn’t keep ‘em under long enough” Kinky Friedman |
