Watched this guy closely this season and the lad can play!! Had 25 possessions on the weekend from the backline and he has poise, courage and genuine ability. Worth consideration Mr Hine! _________________ I love the Pies, hate Carlscum |

Reckon we would've pulled the trigger by now if we were going to, reckon he'd be handy as a mid defender though if his foot skills are anything like his brothers. _________________ Defender...........

Leading possession winner for us this season. Pretty sure he was only a development squad member last year and didn't play a lot of games. Looks like he has filled out this season. I reckon he'll be on an AFL list next year. |

I'd have him in front of Armstrong. |

I personally think he is worth a rookie spot to see how he goes. It is hard to tell if a player can successfully move from VFL to AFL standard. Some dominate at VFL level but their limitations are quickly exposed at AFL level. Whilst not wanting to disrespect the guy, PK is a glaring example here. I have watched him many times at VFL games and he certainly has his strengths. I would suspect that we have seen poorer players don the Black & White consistently over the years. _________________ Now Retired - Every Day Is A Saturday |

Pendles mark 2 is better than Armstrong mark 1.
Not as quick but stronger and harder at the ball. _________________ we don't eat our own at collingwood we just allow them to foul our nest. |

R Pendles game has gone to another level this season compared to last. Mark everything, uses the footy really well. Happy to see him get a rookie spot in 2016 (assuming another club doesn't grab him before us). |

Yes he's definitely worth a look as a rookie-listed player if no other club pounces on him. He would be a better prospect than someone like Armstrong for example. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |

Well he'd address an area we're we have limited depth whereas the recruitment of Maynard, Goodyear, Manteit, and Abbott gives us an abundance of small forward / small defender / occasional mid types competing with Armstrong. |

Agreed, J. Last year I thought he was rather ordinary. Had the occasional okay-ish game but wasn't that inspiring. This year though, he's really taken off. Him, Marsh and Scharenberg have really formed a good defensive unit across half back in the VFL this year. _________________ I am vengeance. I am the night. I am MagpieBat. |
