I'm really not sure about this game. Tiggers are pretty slick when they're 'on' but if we bring in our pressure game that went missing last week, we should win. All of our games have had some sort of blow out either way, I don't think this one will. A draw

It's all about pressure today, place pressure on the plush toy Tigers and we'll destroy them.

Only Carlton and the Suns are softer then Richmond at the moment, they simply crumble under any pressure at all.

We have to win this game, it's a massive chance to go 5-2, that's a sensational start for this young list.

GO PIES. Very Happy

On paper that's a very solid looking Collingwood unit. Fine weather today as well, so I hope Witts clunks a few.

With a third of the home-and-away season now gone, we arrive at a defining stage. Collingwood has an opportunity to own a spot on the upper rungs of the ladder as we approach the restorative powers of the bye.

In Melbourne Cup terms, the runners have rounded the turn into the back straight with Freo leading the pack at a cracking pace. Collingwood, while being jostled earlier, has kept in touch with the leaders and is running cleanly but a little unsettled one out and two back. The field behind is closely bunched and four wide as they wrestle for position, with Carlton and Brisbane 20 lengths behind bringing up the rear.

Collingwood needs to hold its place when the field makes the turn for home, but to urge the beast on too strongly now may risk injury and burn reserves of energy that will be needed when the field enters the final straight. If Collingwood can hold its place among the leaders it has a chance. It will fall to jockey Buckley to out think his rivals and negotiate a path through the leading favourites on the run home, in what looks like being a crowded race to the post.

So I'm not looking for a big win tonight, one that will sap the longevity of this young team. Collingwood need to take the lead and hold it, then relax and deny Richmond opportunities to score. We need to live to fight another day.

Collingwood by 10-15 points.

This is a game where we need to thump the opposition, need to destroy Richmond the same way we did to Carlton. After last weeks shocker and a 9 day break there is no excuse not to burst out of the blocks and give them a good old fashioned hiding, they are rubbish and if we do I would be surprised if Hardwick lasted much longer

Fasolo just been subbed off at half time in the VFL (but not injured).

Chan 7 saying he's been sent over to the MCG as an emergency for the seniors game.

Yep, just heard. I reckon Witts might be rested and Fas made sub. Warm day, quick movement needed. We might be too top heavy.

Possible late change perhaps... If so who could he replace?

Dunno, but since Fasolo has left the ground the Pies' VFL team has gone backwards
