A percentage booster makes the long haul out of Metricon a lot more enjoyable
Pies seemed to have a lot more supporters in the crowd than the Suns - well at least they made a lot more noise - well done to those that made the trip! _________________ Love us or Hate us... we are Collingwood - you can't ignore the Mighty Magpies!!! |

Currently sitting 5th on the ladder now a game behind the Giants who are in 4th spot.
Very nice percentage booster on the weekend as well. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |

Have to win seven matches to make the finals. Need to take out at least one big boy, either Swans, Weagles or Hawthorn for credibility.
We have return matches against Essendon, Carlton and Richmond plus two against Melbourne, that's five, assuming we are good enough.
Have to win one against Port, GWS, Footscray or North, that's 6
Then win one against the big boys - Freo, Hawks, Swans, Moggies and Weagles - that's 7, anything else is a bonus.
More than 12 wins we are entering home final territory, chance to atone for 2012...
Last year was our worst second half season since 2000. normally if you bank 8 wins in the first half of the season, you tend to win 6 or 7 to get you in the finals. |

I still think realistically that this team will most likely finish in the 9 - 12 group, struggling to win against the top 4 or 5 teams. I'll be very happy with that given the development we have been able to put into the young players this year plus the prospect of getting better draft picks. What a great way to look forward to continuing improvement in 2016 and peaking within the next two years after that. That would be bloody brilliant if we are patient enough. _________________ Don't confuse your current path with your final destination. Very happy with 9-12? Imagine Freemantle had that winning culture. Sounds like something I would hear from a Melbourne fan. You don't achieve success if you aim low and mask it as realism. Aim high and win. _________________ I love this club and I hold anyone in contempt who does not think it is worth fighting for. |

About time we beat one of the middle of the road shit sides.
Development year or not, we should be beating teams like Richmond, North and Geelong.
GWS game is going to be very interesting, win that and we might finish top 4 |

^^^ Yep, we've now beaten 13th, 14th, 16th, 17th, 18th and Essendon (10th). We get a chance to make it wins over the bottom six when we play 15th-placed Melbourne next outing. Of course, we haven't played anyone above 7th, so there's plenty of opportunity to take a few big scalps over the rest of the season. |

I probably shouldn't say this publicly, but I really can't see where we'll lose another game. _________________ Well done boys! |
