My daughter is a keen Magpies supporter ( are there any others?) and she is currently in London and considering Anzac Day options. Is there a pub where she can hang with the Magpie crew and watch the game ? |

Not sure about London Pubs old chap. Full of warm beer and two bob winging poms. I am a proud monarchy man. Got a big picture of King George in my bedroom. But I am not a fan of the winging Poms we got out here like my neighbour who is a useless winging ex pat Brit with a view that he was born with a better pot to piss in than us colonial lot down under. I really love the Queen Mother who is amazing for her age. I don't like the younger royals though. Spoilt brats. Queen Victoria was one of the best.
Try the Old George V Tavern in Brighton. Great place for her to have a beer on ANZAC day and they don't mind women drinking in the main bar either. _________________ I love this club and I hold anyone in contempt who does not think it is worth fighting for. |

I thought i was weird Hiss!
But that was an interesting monologue about the royals.
I hate to tell you this but the queen mum dropped dead a few years back. _________________ we don't eat our own at collingwood we just allow them to foul our nest. |

Thanks Hiss, Brighton is a fair way from London. And last time I checked the Queen Mother was deceased. I forgot how early in the morning it will be there. The Brits don't kick on like we do here. Well someone may know a place where they stay open and welcome a crowd. |
