just wondering, with Caff still a ways off returning to the fray, do we have a tagger? Do we need one --for round 1 in particular? Thoughts? _________________ Pies Forever,

Not sure that we need 1 but could see Williams, Sinclair or Ramsay in the role early if needed. Possibly even Langdon. Players like Maynard and Goodyear appear to have the attributes but they'll need to earn their stripes in the VFL first. |

I thought Greenwood played that role at Norf too.
Agree with Jackass' observations too, although Langdon will not be a tagger.
He's our new quarterback, cutting off leads and directing traffic. The 'new Maxy' with better skills _________________ One team, one dream - the Pies and this year's premiership |

Yes Greenwood and crisp have the run and strength to tag as well as hurt going the other way.
Greenwood though has proven to shut players down and get a heap of the ball - much like Licca did. _________________ "Even when Im old and gray, I wont be able to play but Ill still love the game"

Greenwood can play a run with role, and apparently Marley has been training as a tagger.
Highly doubt Crisp will be a tagger. Some dope from the Herald Sun just wrote that he would and everyone just went with it, despite no evidence to indicate that he will play as one. |

Josh Thomas is the perfect tagger. Isn't a really good kick so won't be setting up too much play but can get it. Is strong and can run all day.
They have other options now in the midfield with Adams, Greenwood and Crisp joining Pendlebury, Swan etc. _________________ Jatsad - That is all |
