After the 2011 season, Mark Neeld, Brenton Sanderson, Scott Watters, Brendan McCartney and Nathan Buckley became first-time AFL coaches.
Only Buckley still has his job.

Interesting. No doubt outta this bunch we got the best coach and the better board to back him up.

Good thing they don't then. I am very confident that Bucks currently is a very good coach with good philosophies, and more importantly, time will have him elevated in the the "great coach" bracket. Stay the course Pie fans please, we will be rewarded.

When coaches under perform and get the players offside they get the arse, it's elementary.
We on the other hand extend a contract and thats the only but very strong reason why Ed is compromised and has to go.

How the hell the golden haired child can stay at the Dons is beyond me, I have heard a strong rumour, if the bombers sack him, he will take them to Court and sue their pants off. What a charming guy, what great love he has for his club, - NOT !!

As for the Dogs, will Scotty Burns go there, I wonder ??

Ahhh, but Johnny, mine is from an impeccable source, a mover and shaker quiet high in the Dons fraternity. No name, no packdrill, my source is a mate, a whistleblower, I guess. Cool Cool

Well if you bag the 'vocal minority' before they've said a thing on this thread you're going to hear from them!

@kymbo5:
Mate you are very much entitled to your opinion, but you need to recognise that that's exactly what it is, an opinion. There is nothing whatsoever that anyone can point to which justifies your confidence, and the weight of historical evidence suggests that your confidence is misplaced. One thing we can both take confidence from is that the club won't dump a coach unless they've got another one lined up, so whatever happens we won't be dropped into limbo like Footscray, the Goldy, or Essendumb. Another thing you can be quite sanguine about is that there is no way Buckley will be removed this year, it simply isn't going to happen. Next year some of us will be proven right and others proven wrong and it is my fondest hope I will be among the latter category. There's nothing on earth I want as much as I want Buckley to make a complete muppet of me in 2015, I just don't believe it will happen. However this trade period will have a lot to do with our fortunes next season, which is why I'm far more interested in the movements of Beams, Greenwood, Aish, et al while the game is afoot.
