Will be interesting to see how these two develope. I recall Hine saying on draft day that it was a sheet of paper between the two of them, as to who collingwood would pick.

Thus far only because of senior matches played, you would argue Aish is ahead. But you can't make a clear call on the quality of a draft till five years after the fact.

I used to be undecided, but now I'm not so sure.

Once ours gets on the park I think we will be happy with our call.

Pre draft we were very keen on Bontempelli.

Shame he didn't fall that far.

WAtching aish you see a lot of bruise free footy and I frankly hate watching that kind of "talent" on display. But saying that, he has the ability to avoid contact and that stems from playing against men for 3 years..........
Shazza well who would know. Lions 1. Pies 0

Shazza's performance at AFL level has been a bitter disappointment. Sack the boot studder I say.

Can't win em all, I'm just hopeful Shazza doesn't turn into a Rusling.

We are all hoping that.

It is obvious that he is very talented and it is worth taking the risk.

People talk of us missing Stevie Johnson due to his pre draft injuries. In hind sight we should have selected him. Rusling did not work out for us, but again it was worth the risk when considering his massive upside and potential.

For what ever reason, some you win and some you loose.

Unfortunately a bit of luck is required and we seem to have ran out of it since the 2010 drawn grand final.

The kid is obviously an exceptional talent, just hope for his sake and for the club as well as us we get to see it.

This is an offensive post on so many levels. How about (at the end of 2006) Ellis v Pendelbury.

Another one of Hine's stuff ups. How we could take a previously injured kid in rehab over Aish who is already a star I don't know.

Can't be considered a stuff-up yet... need more time before calling it...

Aish has a massive lead now a one year lead that may become 2... but still berg may adapt and re-generate like the borg and may ultimately be better than Aish!

Way to early to call. Remember Josh Thomas pretty much took 3 years to get on the park. We are now just starting to see the benefits.
