This is probably the wrong forum, so apologies.... but.
I host a radio show with a friend called Hippy Nights with Belinda and Dave, and I think that maybe some people here can help with a bit of content for the show.
so if anyone has any stories they wanna share, or music choices that would make show interesting I am very interested. Here's a podcast of our second show... http://www.podbean.com/media/share/pb-6h8w3-58ab75
I have no idea how us being called hippies started, some pic of Belindas it seems, but anything that can be shared to help make the show a bit more hippy like would be good. _________________ Ðavâgé

Hehehe, a bit cheeky but I remember how much you love them David.
If I had to pick three tunes that say 'hippie' I'd go for:
Bubble Puppy - Hot Smoke & Sassafras
Jimi Hendrix - The Stars That Play With Laughing Sam's Dice
Beatles - I Am The Walrus
All amazing in headphones.

When I was young I was living* (briefly) on a hippy commune in WA.
They were all hard-core Veppos and Vegans.
Meal times were never fun but the Christmas dinner was the last straw!
Moonbeam cooked a turkey (made of lentils) with Mung bean gravy, flat-bread & hummus, beetroot soup and other such "stuff"!
It was fowl! ...err I mean foul!!! |

* I like Hippies.
Without them you'd have nothing to hang your leggies on.
