I just heard on Footy Classified that Carlton are prepared to offer Daisy 600+k a year. I say we let him go and offer Daisy's wage to Dustin Martin.

Thoughts??

Wow that would really piss off tigers fans, it could be enough to push them back to ninth next year

Is Daisy?

Maybe he is not but who would prefer long term?

i agree with a solid midfielder, but Martin is too inconsistent, plus he is still a headcase. would be happy with a decent draft pick and cap room to secure our younger kids.

Well if reports are true, then Martin's management think he is and hence this is the reason Richmond are having trouble re-signing him.

It would be fascinating if Martin ended up at Collingwood. Richmond's hatred of us would go up another notch, but it's not going to happen plus I think Daisy will end up staying with us anyway.

Keep Daisy. Nothing else to say. The man isn't a gun, he's an effing intercontinental ballistic missile.

Daisy is kind of injured goods n ow, I don't reckon the scum would be all that keen on him now, he is injury prone. FWIW he will stay a Pie anyway I reckon, maybe on just a two year deal.

It'll be late 70s all over again. Buying war with the Tiges! Great stuff. Killed both clubs for a decade (two for the tigers) but what the hell, lets do it again.

I don't get it. People are willing to send one of our star players packing because he's had, what, one injury-riddled year? If he still has such market value, perhaps we should be asking ourselves whether it would be madness to trade him away.

Frankly, I just think people on here have goldfish memories. Haven't really seen him at 100% since last year, so he's toast. Shocked

Given Carlton's recent form with regard to recruiting, if they want Daisy then it's safe to assume that he has no future. I'll take Lachie Henderson.

Well if Carlton is willing to offer 600k it would be a bloody stupid move to even go close to matching it

Agree. And I wonder how many more games we would have won had he been playing all year. It's about a champion team, not a team of champions. How many close ones have we lost this year where Daisy would have made a difference?

I see that Sinclair will miss this week - I hope Seedsman gets a shot at the space.
