Carlscum we unlucky not to make the top 4 last year. They will certainly be in the mix this year and they are certainly one of the more competitive teams out there. The difference in the top teams can come down to injuries and a bit of luck either way.
Write off Carlton at your own peril. It is obvious that they do not rate the NAB cup and you can take little from the results.
There is certainly a bit of wishful thinking going on here.

AGAINST a fully fit either Hawks or Pies, even eagles, outfit, they are not in the hunt in the cauldron of a very tough Final . Their backs are shit, led by old man Scotland, they play above themselves and depend on Judas Judd one hell of a lot. They are far from the great scum teams of the 80s, those scum sides had brilliance and talent and hardness-Kernahan, buzz, buckley, armstrong, marcou, rhys jones, doulll, dominator southby harmes etc , they were great scum teams, this one is not in that class.

I agree with you, though they have improvements left in their 3 N° 1 picks and a few others. Things have to go right for them to get to the GF, still the Pies Hawks and Cats are clearly ahead overall. Carlscum have a quick forward line a good midfield but cant defend, that's two out of three........... |

 After their poor showing in the NAB and from their past performances one knows that their not that bad. It's hard to know what the dark side are planning but you can be sure they will be out to try and rectify their loosing streak to us in round 3! I'm sure hoping that we will be ready to send them back to where they came from, Judd Robinson and all!! Our boys have to be switched on! Hope the Tigers give us a wake up call so we will be ready!! There are two games a year we need to be ready for, Carlscum at Home and the Silvertails Away!! |
