The new season kicks off tomorrow our time with the New Orleans 'Aints at Lambeau Field. Go Pack!

On a side note, I see that Peyton Manning will miss starting for the Colts for the first time since 1998 because of an injury. His 208 consecutive starts was the nearest to Number 4's record of 297 consecutive starts (actually 321, if you add in the play-off games over those seasons), so looks like Favre will hold that record for a long while, yet.

Pack scores the first touchdown. Lead the 'Aints 7:0. New Orleans about to touch the ball for the first time, now!

Packers now lead 14:0. Still not half-way through the first quarter.

Looks like these 'Aints could do with Luke Ball, too.

Packers lead 21:7, just before quarter time.

Aaron Rodgers has already thrown for 3 TDs.

Great player (not as good as No 4, though).

Green Bay now leads 42 to 27 - game slipping away from the 'Aints. They do not seem to be able to contain Rodgers' passing game when he gets his hands on the ball.

Green Bay lead 42 to 34 with 2.08 left in the game.

New Orleans tried the on-side kick at the re-start from their last touch-down but failed to keep possession. Perhaps the Pack had watched the 2009 SB once or twice and thought it might be coming?

Green Bay hold on 42 to 34. Very exciting final minute or so as Brees marched the 'Aints down the field. He was at the GB 1 yard line but time ran out (for those who don't know, a TD and a 2-point conversion from the 1 yard line would have tied the game and sent it into over-time).

Final summary - Rodgers too good for the New Orleans defence.

I am hoping the Jets can make the Superbowl this season, it looked like we were a chance last season but just fell a bit short.

Dallas first up, in New York - chance for a good start!

Top game on oneHD today.

Jets came back for a great win.

Hope all the Jets fans in Oz got to see that one. On the ten year anniversary since sept.11. Was pretty cool.

Aussie punter for Dallas was smothered which turned the game as the Jets scored a touchdown from it.

I'm glad you know the result. I recorded it yesterday morning and when I got up to have a look this morning, I saw them come back to 24:24 - I was on the edge of my seat ... and then the recording ran out! Confused

I know I can get the results on the web but it just isn't the same!

Watched the Redskins, though - and Sav punted very well, as they knocked off the Giants.

I beg to differ. No 12 x3 better than No 4 Wink
